Christopher Holmes is a world-renowned film editor who got his editing start in the famed ‘B’ movie film factory of Roger Corman.

Throughout an extensive career, Holmes has worked with some of the most important actors, directors and producers in Hollywood including Jack Nicholson, Sylvester Stallone (both as actors and directors), Arnold Schwarzenegger, Barry Levinson, Michael Schultz, Dino DeLaurentiis, and countless more.

From their first collaborative experience on “Conan The Barbarian”, famed producer Dino DeLaurentiis frequently brought Holmes in to take control of editing on number of films in the capacity of "film doctor."

With an affinity for smaller films that rely on the strength of writing, story and acting, Holmes sought to work on more “European style” films - - a pursuit that would take him throughout much of the world, including extended locations in France, Spain, Italy, England, The Czech Republic, Denmark, India, and South Africa.

In 2004 Holmes took a position with Sony Home Entertainment as Supervising Editor, overseeing all of Sony’s Extended and Director's Cuts for their DVD releases.

Holmes currently is involved with both studio and independent filmmakers, using his experience and storytelling talents to help them realize their vision.

Holmes has six adult children and lives with his wife, Ewa in Los Angeles.

From the low budget exploitation films on which he earned his stripes, to the major studio releases with A-list talent, and more specialized, international art house fare, Holmes has worked in virtually every film genre. And through it all, with the advances in production, post-production and distribution technology, he remains as excited and passionate about each new project as the day he cut his first frame of film.
